Due Diligence

“deep due diligence around the science, programs, team, plan, patents, is critically important”

Conducting biopharmaceutical due diligence is often about supporting a decision for financial investment or licensing.  This is most frequently achieved by using expert consultants to provide an external perspective on the validity of any claims made.  This might be scientific or technical in nature, regulatory claims, project timelines or looking at the financial or commercial projections.   Expert due diligence may identify minor issues and set out some recommendations to mitigate those risks.  It may also identify major issues with a program that may cause the investor to rethink their validation through to terminating further discussion.  Ultimately it is about providing insight that allows the client to make an informed decision about the value of a program and how best to progress.
